About SEI

SEI Electrical Contractors and Custom Integrators has been wiring and automating luxury homes across the Hamptons and the East End since 2003. What started as a two person electrical contracting business has grown into a full team handling everything from new construction wiring to whole home automation, without losing the personal, relationship driven way the company does business.

Built on Electrical. Evolved for the Modern Home.

Michael Sagginario and Dennis Delaney started working together at a union electrical shop, handling commercial projects and custom homes across the East End. In 2003, the two decided to go into business for themselves, founding Sayville Electric Inc., known today as SEI.

From the beginning, Mike and Dennis built the company on relationships: showing up when they said they would, doing the work right, and standing behind every job. That reputation is still what drives much of SEI’s business today, through referrals and long standing relationships with builders, architects, designers, and past clients.

For years, SEI focused on new construction wiring, lighting installations, and commercial electrical work. As smart home technology became a bigger part of high end residential construction, Mike and Dennis saw an opportunity to bring that expertise in house.

They built out a full home automation and integration division, giving clients and project teams a single company for both the electrical and technology sides of a project.

That combination, electrical contracting and custom integration under one roof, is what sets SEI apart today. Builders, architects, designers, and homeowners have one point of contact instead of coordinating between separate contractors, while both sides of the project work from the same plans, site knowledge, and overall vision from day one.

Today, SEI brings together a growing team of skilled electricians and technology professionals working almost entirely with builders, architects, and designers on luxury homes throughout the Hamptons and greater East End. More than two decades in, the company still operates on the same principle it started with: build relationships by doing the work right.

90%

More than 90% of SEI’s work comes through builders, Those relationships continue to drive SEI’s business today.

Built for Builders Across the Hamptons and East End

More than 90% of SEI’s work comes through builders, a relationship that goes back to the company’s earliest projects performing commercial work across the East End, including libraries, police stations, firehouses, and other projects that put SEI in front of many of the same builders who later moved into custom homes.

Those relationships continue to drive SEI’s business today, along with architects, designers, property managers, and homeowners who value having one experienced team responsible for both the electrical infrastructure and technology systems of a home.

Meet the Owners

What started with commercial and residential electrical work grew project by project and relationship by relationship into the company SEI is today. As technology became increasingly important in luxury residential construction, Michael and Dennis expanded SEI to include a full custom integration division, creating one team capable of handling both the electrical infrastructure and the technology behind the home. Michael and Dennis remain closely involved in the company and its projects, from walking job sites and maintaining builder and client relationships to staying current with advancements in lighting, lighting control, home automation, networking, audio/video, and other residential technologies through ongoing manufacturer training. After more than two decades in the field, they still measure every project the same way they did when they started: would they want it in their own home?

The P.O.W.E.R. Values Behind Every SEI Project

SEI’s values spell out P.O.W.E.R. They’re more than words on a page. They guide how every project is planned, installed, communicated, and ultimately handed off.

Precision

We plan carefully, install accurately, and execute to code and design intent.

Precision means the electrical and automation plan gets worked out before the walls close up, not figured out along the way. For clients and project teams, that means fewer surprises and a finished result that matches the original design intent.

Ownership

We take responsibility for our own work.

SEI stands behind every job without needing to be asked. If something isn’t right, it gets made right. Clients and project partners can count on a direct point of contact who takes responsibility for the project.

Workmanship

We deliver high quality electrical and smart home installations with pride and attention to detail.

The same care goes into the wiring no one will ever see as the fixtures, keypads, lighting, and technology a client interacts with every day. It’s the difference between a system that simply works and one that was clearly built to last.

Execution

We follow through, communicate clearly, and finish what we start.

Execution means clear communication from the first conversation through the final walkthrough, with systems tested and confirmed complete before the project is considered finished. Builders, designers, and clients know where the project stands throughout the process.

Relationships

We build trust with clients, builders, architects, designers, and teammates through professionalism and consistency.

Relationships are why so much of SEI’s work comes from repeat clients, builders, and project partners who call again for the next home. That trust is earned one project at a time and is what allows clients and partners to bring SEI into larger and more complex projects with confidence.
