Automation Services

Home Automation & Smart Home Integration

A smart home should make life easier, not require a manual. We design and install automation systems for homes that give homeowners real control over lighting, shades, climate, and more, without turning daily life into a series of app menus.

Smart Home Scenes Built for Everyday Use

A single button by the front door can bring up your entry lights, illuminate the hallway to the bedrooms, and set the mood for the evening, all at once, instead of six separate switches. An all off scene shuts everything down before you head out for the weekend. Some clients want a touch panel in high traffic spots like a media room or kitchen, so anyone in the house, guests included, can control things easily without the app. We’ve also built simple printed guides for clients who aren’t as comfortable with a phone app, so day to day use never feels like a hurdle.

What We Handle

  • Lighting control and scene programming
  • Motorized shading systems
  • Climate control integration
  • Automated locks and garage doors
  • Whole home and room by room control via app, touch panel, or voice
  • System programming tailored to how you actually use the house

Smart Home Automation Built Around Simplicity

Every new automation client wants to know what’s possible, and almost everything can be automated. Lighting, shades, climate, locks, garage doors, even pool equipment can technically be tied into a system. But we don’t recommend automating everything just because it’s an option. The more complicated a system gets, the less anyone actually wants to use it.

Our Home Automation Design Process

We start with a meeting to understand how you plan to use the house and how much control you actually want. From there we build out a scope, review it with you, and refine it before anything gets priced or installed. For new construction, this happens early enough to plan the wiring before walls close up. For existing homes, we work around what’s already there.

Products We Trust

We’re a certified Lutron HomeWorks dealer, a distinction that takes real time and volume to earn. We also install Josh AI for voice control and whole home automation, which uses AI to build custom scenes just by describing what you want out loud.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will automation make my house more complicated to live in?2026-08-20T14:34:41+00:00

Not if it’s built right. We intentionally avoid over automating a home. A system that’s too complex to use every day isn’t doing its job, so we build around what will actually get used.

What’s the most popular place to start with home automation?2026-08-20T14:30:57+00:00

Exterior and entry lighting, along with kitchen and entertaining areas. Most homeowners start there and expand from that point.

I’m not very tech savvy. Will I be able to use this?2026-08-20T14:31:38+00:00

Yes. We spend time at the end of every install walking clients through the system, and for anyone who wants it, we’ll build simple printed instructions for the features they use most.

Do I need a touch panel on the wall, or can I control everything from my phone?2026-08-20T14:32:27+00:00

Either, or both. Many clients run everything from an app, but a touch panel in a high traffic room can be useful for guests or family members without the app installed.

What brands do you work with for automation?2026-08-20T14:33:04+00:00

We’re a certified Lutron HomeWorks dealer and install Josh AI for whole home and voice control.
